Done fixing DV 9700 !

Finally All parts arrived, and I reflowed the dv 9700 successfully.
This was actually first time of me doing BGA reflow, and I'm glad that I did the job correctly.
Then I realized the inverter was also bad, so I had to get a new inverter as well.
I had to do some more work on the dv 2000, So I worked both of them at the same time.

 One is 14 inch screen, one is 17! so big!

 I was quite amzed by the size of the screen. 

 Some visible scratches and cracks.

Unfortunately, I was so in to it when I was working on those, 

I forgot to take pictures...

 Formatting both at the same time~!

 Looks great, and I cleaned the keyboards, so now it looked really well.

 Putting a hard drive for DV 2000. The harddrive was so  slow,

it made me puke.. -_--

 The dv 9700 had 2 hard drive caddy, it did not support raid, 

but it is a very brilliant idea, since you can use ssd and hdd at the same time.

I don't know why companies nowadays don't put 2 hard drive caddies. 

It would be so useful..

My experience of meeting Jesus Christ

I finally came back from the 2012 church retreat.
It was the best retreat I've ever been.
So many of my friends got blessed by god, and it was so holy..
Even the camp manager told us that he'd never seen a group that is such holy as us.
But my experience of meeting Jesus was the best part of the retreat.
I was begging and praying for long to meet Jesus, my only lord.
I saw him coming down from heaven.
The heaven was so bright that  I couldn't open my eyes.
Jesus was very bright as well. He came all the way down, then came through a giant golden gate. Everything was very holic.
Then he walked around me, then all of my wounds in my deep heart got cured.
It was a miracle, and I cannot explain it well.
But the retreat was the biggest impact on my life so far.
Let the god do everything <3 Love you Jesus

Fixing HP DV 2000~!!

Okay, now I am going into more deeper level of fixing computers.
Couple days ago, I saw this video about BGA Reflow
BGA reflow is a technology that melts down all the soldering metals on the bad graphics card with a heat gun, then let it cool down so It solders properly by itself.
This is quite simple tech if you have the tools.
So I bought the tool... and some broken hp dv laptops.. and parts.
Today, I got my first broken product, which is a HP DV 2000.
Apparently, there wasn't anything wrong with the gpa.
So I put some new thermalgrease, and did some cleaning and modifications inside the laptop.

Today, I sold 2 1001P netbooks, and I got paid for fixing the dell xps 8300.
Today, 3 guys came to my house to do business.
One of them was a christian pastor, and he wants me to fix his son's netbook tmrw.
His son is at Gana for missionary, I might fix it for free if it doesn't cost me anything.
Good way to embrace my christian.

If I sell this last netbook tmrw, I will make 600 dollars.
My goal till the summer is about 4000 dollars, so I am about 15% there!
Muhahahahahahaha..

Fixing Dell XPS 8300!

Today was a busy day, sort of.
I finally received the motherboard for the dell XPS 8300 for my customer.
The motherboard that I ordered is made by msi, and it is technically first time me using msi motherboard.
The exterior was fantastic. It looked really nice and shiny.
Features were great as well.
Dang I should use msi motherboard next time. for my rig.
So here are the pictures !

 Look at that box.. so nice.. at least to me..

 The old motherboard. My customer moved about 8 terabytes(yes. 8 TB) of files with this computer.
He let the pc run for 2 days non stop, and it broke after the work. Poor motherboard. Rest in peace.
Moving that much files non stop really isn't good for the south bridge.

 Look at that piece of art... That OC genie and military class sticker really shines the motherboard.
The electricity support part looks very good. Its got a lot of msi's signiture SFC chokes.
Dual channel support as well. I really couldn't find any bad thing about this motherboard.
It even came with a legit sata 6gb/s cable. Very thoughful.

 That was an easy job! I put a wireless card and an extra fan for a service ;)
Actually it is also for my self protection.. I don't want him to fry the south bridge again..

Turned on! Fans look like they are stopped, but everything is running fine!
Installed windows 7 ultimate and some other useful programs! Now it is faster than any other stock xps 8300!

Fixing Asus eee pc 1001P!

Very good condition, and formatted correctly.
These 1001P came out later than the 1005ha, but they have less feature.
This 1001p has newer cpu, which is intel atom n450 or something,
but the speed is the same, just more efficient.
Bluetooth was removed :( and Asus decided to put 802.11g model.
I think the reason is cuz on the 1005HA, they used 802.11n wifi, but they only had 1 antenna.
In general, the battery life was extended, and the mouse track pad is smoother.
Carbon fiberish matte design is a good try, but does not look as good as glossy covers from 1005ha.
Asus should have put a faster cpu.
The cpu brings down the speed of this netbook alot, sometimes the speed pisses me off.
Asus should realize that users want more speed, not more battery life.
but overall, great product for its price.

Fixing Asus eee pc 1005HA!

Just fix this awesome condition Asus eee PC 1005HA.

Screen was cracked, OS was damaged and Bios was malefunctioning.

Fix the screen by replacing it, Installed NEW Operating system 

and Code reseted the bios and changed the bios battery.

looks good and new, now it is time to sell this thing!
