Biggest project so far! 4 computer builds for an automotive shop!

So business is going pretty well, but I just got a business request for building 4 computers! and possible 2 more! The owner of the automotive shop "village auto repair" located in Seattle just requested me to build them 4 new computers for their new software I gave them 300 bucks computer and charged 100 each! Great deal in my opinion! I'm glad to build so much computers and I'll show them some quality service! They gave me their company card to spend! I could possibly build 2 more computers for this guy. Hopefully this goes well! Also homie nico hooked me up with some more netbooks. I'm so broke at the moment but I'll get some cash soon! Happy happy! On Saturday I get to change the timing belt and water pump on my teggy! Excited

More of selling laptops! School life

I've sold some more laptops. Customer Jeff ordered 3 laptops from me,and I built them with passions! It seems like he will purchase more! This is a great definition of word of mouth haha Also I'm looking for a prelude now.. and willing to sell my car! School life is tough, but homecoming is coming up and I got a sweetest girl I could possibly get! I'm kinda stuck on my business, need another new plans to get out of this slump..!

Shift in my business! Built 3 computers! and new semester

I tried to do something new. I always heard people telling me to build computers for others. So I did. Put an ad on craigslist, got 3 customers in 2 weeks. It is little bit time consuming and hard, since I actually have to build a pc, but communicating with my customer really helps me alot. And after the job, customers were all happy and surprised at what they've built! As seeing them smiling after the build, it makes me smile as well. Pay is great also. I should keep doing this. Also my new semester started. Except for the Chinese class, everything is awesome. My deca teacher is so passionate on what he is doing. He also tells us great info and know-hows. I'm excited to see my business improving as I'm taking deca. I am so excited and ready for the new semester. But I really get tons of homeworks and haven't gotten a chance to sleep yet. Maybe I should sleep early today. I wish I can upload pictures from my phone but I don't have any android cables.. ugh gotta buy one.

Repair updates!

Fixed two phones with screen issues LG Thrill 4g and htc Amaze! I took the LG Thrill 4g and currently using as mine! I love this phone it looks so pretty and nice. Lg did a great job on this phone with the gorilla glass. It does not leave a scratch! Also I got a netbook from Nico, and I only need to change the mouse pad in order to sell it. I also got the clutches for my car, and they look awesome! But I'm considering what to choose for my transmission fluid. People say to get AMS oil, but it seems really expensive and rare. The OEM fluid cost only about 18 bucks, but people say it is worse than mobil 1 haha. I'll do a full documentary on my clutch replacement ! I;m very excited.

Changing proxy makes people happy!

So there is London Olympics going on.
As a proud South Korean, I would love to watch the S.Korean games.
But stupid NBC doesn't broadcast any games that doesn't involve U.S in it...

Meanwhile, Naver.com or Daum.net broadcast S.Korean games online
That's where I used to watch previous olympics.

But this year, they decided to limit their service to people who only live in S.Korea.
So if you live outside of S.Korea, you won't get the access to the online broadcast.

So many people living in U.S or outside of S.Korea cannot watch the game.
I studied how they can figure out where I am.
I used random proxys or Tor browser, but did not help.
So I decided to manually change the proxy.
I looked up some random Korean proxy and manually changed it on my browser.
Yay it works!

I shared this information with friends and put it on to youtube.
Now so many people can enjoy the Olympics outside of S.Korea.

Fixed a samsung desktop with motherboard issue, reflowed the chipset.
Then put gt210 so it won't happen again..

This professor asked me to build him a very fast computer,

so I made a 500 bucks budget computer with mushkin SSD and radeon graphics card since he wanted to hook up with 3 screens.

The result was good, he liked it except for the chassis.. (He thought it was big)

but well made and I'm very happy!
Also test drove a junk prelude haha..

Need to enlarge my business!

So after buying my car, I really feel like I need to somehow enlarge the size of the business that I'm doing.

I'm making good money for the time I spend, but definately not enough to spend on all my goods.

I need to make good 1000 dollars per month, but currently I'm making only about half of that.
I need to come up with some brilliant idea for this..  hmmm......
Maybe I should start focusing on repairing than selling, since by repairing I have nothing else to lose.

Fixing laptop is getting faster and better I also signed up for a summer classes about hardware and network maintanence in bellevue college! Excited after the summer I'll be a certified technician! I'm also enlarging my business and I feel like my business is finally set. I have no problem what so ever! awesome! btw I fixed about 10laptops from last post haha

Fixing more laptops and youtube!

So after getting my integra, I started slow down my business and focused on my school work. My school work isn't going well this year... My senior year will be my last chance... Anyways, I fixed acer 5250 laptop and an asus eee pc! Acer seems to go out pretty slow, don't really know why. but I sold it for quite good money, but it all goes to my car and gas. My car has a rebuilt title, and I don't think it is a good idea to spend shit loads of money onto it.. So I need to stop spending money on my car.. Hm.... Also, my youtube channel is going very great, I guess people nowadays really try to fix their laptops their own. I have like 15 subscribers hahaha After this week I'll be posting more fun stuff!

Fixing my pre customer's netbook! Warranty kicked in yo

One of my earliest customer, Wes bought a netbook from me. Then he dropped it and destroyed the charging port. And he brought it to me with another broken laptop. Since he is a missionary, I feel bad for charging a guy that is volunteering outside the nation. So I fixed it for free, even tho I spent a lot of time on it! haha I feel so proud now. A little resistance fell off during the shock. So I resoldered the resistance using super charp tip soldering machine. It works great now

My first ride!

Finally bought my car. Sadly it is not prelude. I decided to delay the prelude since there weren't any good ones in craigslist. So I bought an integra! 90k miles on 1998 car! Ihave to say I got an awesome deal! I just need to practice more manual ! I'll upload the details later! AP Test tomorrow! gotta go study

Fixing 2 compaq laptops! + Looking for preludes

Last week I bought 2 compaq laptops and 1 hp laptop! I haven't wored with hp, and I fix 2 compaq laptops! One just needed a new screen, the other one needed a new hard drive. I also got email from my customer, penny who bought dv9000 long time ago. She told me that the screen is blank. So now I'm fixing her laptop as well. To make it not happen again, I actually managed to find a brand new motherboard for the system, and a bigger heatpipe. I'm excited to see some smiles on her face. Anyways, my car d day is almost here. I looked at many prelude manuals, I didn't like any of them... Well it is more likely my dad didn't like any of them.. He is really extremly picky, maybe cuz he was a mechanic.. Anyways, my friend Jared told me about this Prelude that he was at Woodnville. Apparently there was this little used car dealer shop next to Dairy Queen next to my house! Holy moly I didn't even know about it. I didn't expect that much, just stopped by. Actually this one was in a great shape! but the dealershop was closed. So I went there with my dad today, and we test drove it. I could not believe my dad actually liked the car. He liked it! It is automatic, very depressiong, but other than that, it is perfect. :) I'm so excited for tomorrow, I get to have my own car! and I actually got scammed on ebay.. I shipped it before the guy paid.. and it is definately my mistake.. I learned my lesson hopefully I don't do dumb stuff again.

Fixed Samsung RC512, 2 Toshiba C655, and got a new laptop!!

So I got this Toshiba C655 for 150. Replaced the screen and sold it to my friend. And I liked it alot, so I got another one. But then IT CAME WITH A CRACKED BOTTOM COVERRRRR So seller gave me a partial refund, and I had to replace the bottom cover too... Now this one is on criagslist. I also sold the compaq Cq61 to my friend, then he broke it in one day and now asking me for a refund.. I don't know what he did, but he managed to damage the bios... Now I have to give 260 bucks back, about to lose quite a lot of money... I also bought this Samsung Rc512 S02 laptop for 290! and bought a hard drive, battery and a charger and now whole set is ready for 350! Yeah this is so far the most expensive laptop I've ever bought. But this thing comes with QUAD CORE I7 AND GT 525M JESUS CHRIST THAT THING IS POWERFUL! It also comes with the newest technologies, and I loved it. I was gonna sell it for 650, but then I decided to keep it for my self! So I sold my LG for 410 to this pastor who lives in widbey island! Good shit good shit! Old baby goes.. new one comes.. I really loved LG,but it would have been better if they put a faster hdd and a better cpu... But I will always miss that screen... that screen was just an absolute beauty...

Fixing Compaq CQ61-411 and working on gateway nv7310u

First, Compaq was easy. I just reflowed, and it works good now haha.
I also got this gateway laptop, 17.3inch big entertainment laptop.
The laptop looks spiffy and I really liked it, but it wouldn't start.
Thing is, they are using censor power button, not a manual button.
So I could not tell if the powerbutton, cable, or board was broken.
I was positively sure that it was one of them, but I didn't have money and time to do that,
So I decided to sell...
My break just started, I'm trying to do something productive this break
Hopefully I do well..
